Malta - 8K Walk to Sliema, Day 4, May 24th

We bought a 6-cup stove-top espresso maker yesterday and Jill and I now start and end each day with a triple espresso each.  After brekkie we walked for two hours along the shoreline route (8 km) to Sliema to do our grocery shopping then caught the ferry back to Valletta.  Up to unpack then back down to Cockney’s at the ferry dock of Marsamxett (pronounced mar-sam-shet) Harbour just below our apartment where we had our first grilled fresh fish with fabulous olive oil and parsley and a bottle of Maltese white wine.  We cleaned the bones for the family of cats who were most appreciative to receive our leftovers.  We walked-off lunch through the city to the Grand Harbour to see where the cruise ships dock then back home for a snooze and camera download.
