Milos, Greece, Day 3

What a lovely day we had. We surprisingly slept in until 10 and rushed down for breakfast which we found out was available until 11. The spread and choices are to suit everyone's tastes. Trays are available to take back to your room. Have I mentioned how our hosts bend over backwards to please us? Awesome place ... Hotel Rigas. The island hasn't received any rain this summer so everything is bone dry. It's a wonder that you still see some green. Although the succulents are looking good.

We walked into town to do some shopping for dinner tonight. Fresh butchered pork chops, lettuce, tomatoes, salt, extra virgin local olive oil, vinegar and some more marinated octopus for my late night snack. We decided to go up to Plaka, the highest point. Panos printed us a bus schedule and directed us to the bus stop. Air conditioned coaches run on time to the minute. The views from Plaka were spectacular. We stopped for a Greek salad and bottles of bubbly mineral water before we took the bus back. We could hardly wait to immerse ourselves into the crystal clear water at our beach, then  it was back home to cook dinner. Eating al fresco on our terrace with the breeze was nothing short of cosmic. Tomorrow's plans are falling into place.
